Newcastle United were without Kieran Trippier against Manchester City amid fears over a hamstring injury.
Newcastle United secured a 2-1 win over Manchester City on Saturday night to hit back in style.
The Magpies were beaten at Brentford before the international break and needed to respond against City.
Harvey Barnes scored Newcastle’s two goals at St James’ Park, but fans have voted Malick Thaw as the Man of the Match.
This was a real team effort for Newcastle, but Kieran Trippier was not part of the Newcastle celebrations.

Eddie Howe shares concerning Kieran Trippier update
Trippier spoke days before Newcastle faced City, praising the club’s journey as he prepared to face his former club.
When the Newcastle line-up to face City emerged, Trippier wasn’t even named on the bench.
Tino Livramento did a great job in Trippier’s absence, but Newcastle fans were left to wonder about the experienced right-back.
Howe told The Northern Echo that he was unsure about Trippier’s issue as he needed to speak to the Newcastle medical team.
Intriguingly, Howe was a little more forthcoming when speaking on Newcastle’s official website.
Howe confirmed that Trippier’s injury is a hamstring problem, and he suffered it at the end of training on Friday.
Howe added that the injury doesn’t look ‘too serious’, but believes Trippier could miss ‘a few weeks’ of action.
“I’m slightly unsure,” said Howe.
“He had a hamstring problem just right at the end of training yesterday, so fingers crossed it’s not too bad.
“I don’t think it’s too serious, but it might be enough to keep him out for a few weeks,” he added.

Tino Livramento facing another start after injury return
That certainly sounds like Trippier won’t be involved when Newcastle travel to face Marseille in midweek.
Howe may have been keen to rotate his right-backs in France, especially as Livramento has only just returned from injury.
However, Trippier will seemingly miss out and leave Livramento to start once again.
Emil Krafth is an option as well, but he didn’t exactly take his chance against West Ham United and was substituted at half-time.
Howe will be wary of overloading Livramento so soon after his return, but Trippier’s injury means another start against Marseille now looks likely.
