Newcastle United will face a weakened Everton side at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday.
After Newcastle United’s win over Manchester City, Eddie Howe will attempt to sort out his side’s away form in the Premier League.
The Magpies have not won on the road in the league all season, and that certainly needs to change on Merseyside this weekend. If not, Newcastle United will go into the Tyne-Wear derby against Sunderland on 14th December without an away Premier League victory.
Before that is the aforementioned trip to Everton, where Newcastle will face an Everton side full of confidence following their 1-0 win against Manchester United on Monday night.
Idrissa Gana Gueye suspended for Newcastle United after crazy moment
The Toffees celebrated a famous victory at Old Trafford, with David Moyes picking up three points against his former club.
It was an outstanding performance from Everton, made all the more impressive given the fact they played most of the game with 10 men.
Idrissa Gana Gueye was sent off in the 13th minute following an altercation with teammate Michael Keane.
The Everton duo became embroiled in an argument in their own box, which culminated in Gueye slapping Keane. He was sent off, and will now serve a three-match ban that starts against Newcastle United on Saturday.
As for the Magpies, Anthony Gordon is fully fit and should feature against his former club. Elsewhere, Kieran Trippier has a hamstring injury and it is unclear when he will return.

Idrissa Gana Gueye apologises ahead of Everton vs Newcastle United
Gueye followed in the footsteps of Kieron Dyer and Lee Bowyer by fighting with a teammate on the pitch, and it looked like it would cost Everton.
Incredibly, Moyes’ side rallied with 10 men and went on to score a winner through Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
As Everton toasted a shock victory, Gueye took to his official Instagram account to apologise to everyone involved, including Keane.
“I want to apologise first to my teammate Michael Keane,” he wrote.
“I take full responsibility for my reaction. I also apologise to my teammates, the staff, the fans and the club.
“What happened does not reflect who I am or the values I stand for. Emotions can run high, but nothing justifies such behaviour.
“I’ll make sure it never happens again. UTT.”
Despite his apologies, Gueye will be suspended for Saturday’s game against Newcastle. The only way that will change is if Everton successfully appeal the sending off, which feels unlikely.
