Antonio Cordero may not be the only player recalled from a poor loan spell away from Newcastle United.
Indeed, Newcastle United are considering recalling Cordero from his loan spell at KVC Westerlo due to a lack of game time for the Spanish winger.

It would be nice for the club to take a proactive approach and, thankfully, Cordero isn’t the only one who may be recalled.
Newcastle United consider recalling Travis Hernes and Trevan Sanusi from loan spells
According to The Daily Mail, it would “appear likely” that some – if not all – of Cordero, Travis Hernes and Trevan Sanusi could return to Newcastle in January.
The club would then have to find them new moves during the January transfer window.
Hernes hasn’t played a senior game for Groningen this season, while Sanusi hasn’t played for French side Lorient due to injury.
They are all young players who need game time to build their careers but those chances have not been forthcoming for a variety of reasons this season.
Newcastle United ready to get ruthless but serious questions need to be asked

Newcastle fans were disappointed Cordero was sent on loan to Westerlo and they have very much been proven right.
Loan issues have dogged the club for a while now and it would be wise to call them back in January and take further stock of their respective situations.
