Eddie Howe has named his last Newcastle United lineup of the 2025/26 Premier League season away at Fulham.

There is precious little to play for as Newcastle United bring the curtain down on Howe’s most difficult season in charge of the club.

Anthony Gordon may never play for Newcastle again and the winger remains on the bench for their Premier League finale at Craven Cottage.

Nick Woltemade continues in the team behind the in-form William Osula.

Lewis Hall back to right-back in Newcastle United lineup

The major change from last weekend’s win over West Ham is that it appears Lewis Hall is playing at right-back.

Hall, who missed out on the England squad for the 2026 World Cup earlier this week, operated there in the draw with Nottingham Forest earlier this month.

Last weekend, Kieran Trippier was brought back into the side for his farewell at St James’ Park, but he drops back down the bench for Sunday’s game.

Dan Burn – who did make England’s World Cup squad – duly starts at left-back.

Jacob Murphy also comes back into the side in favour of Harvey Barnes. Sandro Tonali is fit to start after coming off injured against West Ham last time out.

Tino Livramento, Fabian Schar, Lewis Miley and Emil Krafth are all injured. Livramento should make the World Cup but it remains to be seen what happens with him beyond that point.

Krafth is set to leave Newcastle United this summer upon the expiration of his contract, while Howe is hopeful that Schar will sign a new contract with the club.

Miley is targeting a return in pre-season after breaking his leg in training.
