Matthias Jaissle has now agreed to become the new Newcastle United manager.
This follows Eddie Howe resigning from the role.

When news initially broke that the Al Ahli manager was first choice to replace Eddie Howe, it was stated that Jaissle had a release clause that would smooth the process.
Sky Sports now making public that Newcastle United will pay £9.5m (€11m) compensation to Al Ahli.
The Newcastle United squad flew out earlier on Friday to La Manga for their pre-season training camp.
Sky Sports state that the plan is for Matthias Jaissle to join up with the Newcastle players on Saturday.
