Which 11 players would you pick in the Newcastle United team v Millwall?

The fifth match of this NUFC season.

Unbeaten in the opening four games with five points from three Premier League matches, plus a victory over West Brom in the Carabao Cup.

Now it is an 8pm kick-off away at Millwall tonight.

The prize is a place in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup.

As always in these cup matches, a case of balance.

Putting out a starting eleven capable of progressing but also looking after your players. Taking into consideration the physical condition of those who started the Bournemouth match, as well as giving players a chance who aren’t starting in the Premier League.

Whilst this Millwall match comes only three days after Saturday’s Premier League game, Matthias Jaissle does have the luxury of six days until the next match, with Leeds away moved to Monday.

We just wanted to get a quick snapshot of what fans are thinking.

Which eleven players do you think Matthias Jaissle should select against Millwall?

We have put together a list of the 20 players who could potentially be selected for this game.

Dan Burn, Joelinton and William Osula are currently out injured, whilst at his pre-match press conference Matthias Jaissle said that Tino Livramento is still not ready to start matches after recovering from injury.

Ewen Jaouen missed the Bournemouth match due to a twisted ankle the Head Coach confirmed, Jaissle saying it remained to be seen whether the 20-year-old keeper will be available. I can’t see him being risked in the starting eleven in any circumstances but have left him in amongst the options to choose from just in case.

Many thanks for taking the time to vote.
