Newcastle United boss Matthias Jaissle has made a bright start at St. James Park.
The NUFC Head Coach going unbeaten in all his competitive games, so far.
He first saw a Newcastle United victory get snatched away by a 90+9 minute equaliser converted by Dominik Szoboszlai.
After that, wins against West Brom and Tottenham brought the winning feeling back to Tyneside.
We scrapped our way to a draw Bournemouth (as usual at home against Bournemouth, not fun) and managed a well-earned 0-1 victory at The Den in South London against Millwall.
That’s five Newcastle United games in a row unbeaten.
At no point last season could NUFC manage that. The most we got in a run last year was four. In fact to make it a bit more painful, last season we did manage a run of five in a row…but those were losses.
So we really can be happy with how the Newcastle United season has started. Optimism is also funny, so why don’t be crazy and ask ourselves the question: “Where does this end?”
That’s why I need your guys’ opinion, put in the comments down how long you think Newcastle United can remain unbeaten. I’m curious to hear what you think and I want you to be involved in an article.
You can give your best arguments for why it will be so long (or so short) and in the next article, I can discuss your guys’ opinions.
Reactions on comments:
I will also at the end of each article try to do my best to react to any comments or questions you might ask following my articles generally. For those of you who haven’t seen my previous articles, I am a 16-year-old Newcastle United fan who lives in Belgium.
A reply to David Cresswell:
I don’t know much about Matias Fernandez-Pardo. I didn’t see him play in The Belgian league and watched very little of him at Lille. Still, I know he has a lot of potential to his name and I am sure he can fulfil that potential here at Newcastle.
A reply to Percyarcade:
My favourite club in Belgium is Club Brugge. As a young kid, there were the best in the league (they are still the best). But over the years, I lost the passion for Belgium football and look with more curiosity at the bigger European leagues with the Premier League and Serie A my favourites. From the age of eight years old I used to go to Club Brugge maybe five times in a season. Now I like to go as much as possible to watch Newcastle United and Juventus, plus soon RC Lens hopefully.
