Wor Flags have made an official Eddie Howe statement.
This follows the news on Thursday that Eddie Howe has resigned as Newcastle United manager.
Matthias Jaissle expected to be announced very shortly as the new United boss.
Having resigned as Al Ahli manager, Jaissle expected to join up with the Newcastle United squad at their La Manga training camp on Saturday.
In the meantime, Wor Flags paying tribute to the outgoing boss…

Thank you for five years of amazing memories, ambition and commitment. Our whole fanbase is so proud to have had you as our manager.
So many unforgettable moments, especially that day in March 2025, when you were the man to do what so many before were unable to.
So many greats have tried but you were the one. You gave us the greatest day of our lives and that is something that we will always remember you for.
Of course there are so many more, reaching the 2023 League Cup Final, Champions League nights under the lights at SJP and all of the unbelievable trips around Europe. It has been an amazing journey and we can’t thank you enough for everything.
Hope to see you again soon, once a Geordie always a Geordie!

In recent days, they had also revealed something very special is planned for the first home match of the season when Liverpool visit St James’ Park.
Wor Flags with very ambitious plans to involved every single seat/fan inside St James’ Park, including the Liverpool supporters, when paying a huge tribute to Kevin Keegan.
I can’t imagine how much work will have to go into this from the volunteers who plan and put the displays in place, plus of course then tidy them away afterwards. The least the rest of us can do is help to finance it…
