Over in Bergamo, Sandro Tonali completed a perfect night for the Newcastle United internationals. The United midfielder volleying home the first and getting an assist for the second goal, as Italy also progress to the World Cup play-off finals.
They will face Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday, the winners heading to the 2026 World Cup finals.
