West Ham currently eighteenth in the full table, five places and ten points below Newcastle United who are thirteenth.
For the Hammers it is though all about their fight with Tottenham in seventeenth, one of the two set to be relegated.
West Ham looked as though they were heading to safety with a run of only two defeats in ten games, picking up 16 points. However, that has been followed by two very damaging defeats in their last couple of matches.
Interesting to see that Forest are second top of the Premier League form table, they have actually put together an unbeaten eight match run to get out of trouble.
Clutching at very thin straws but at least a positive that Newcastle United ended a run of defeats with a win and a draw in the last two matches, only three Premier League teams have picked up more points in their last couple of games.
