Brilliant away performance from all the team but special mention to those players that were struggling last season… whatever the reason.
Things are looking promising with two home games to come against Bournemouth and Hull (not counting any chickens!).
Only three games in, but it’s hard not to be impressed by our new manager.

‘How not to spend more than £300m!
It’s been a real pleasure watching £225m worth of ex NUFC ‘talent’ look bang average in these opening fixtures.
Meanwhile our combination of new signings and like new signings are getting all the headlines.
If that first goal is an example of the vertical football we’ve been promised then I’m a convert. Tremendous move with Jaissle’s two recruits key to it.
Much as I’d love to see Spurs get relegated they do gift us an abundance of points. Maybe 17th for them again would be satisfactory.’

I wasn’t able watch it as away from home but kept getting updates from the app.
Seems like we weathered a first half storm before imposing ourselves second half.
Dedic with another assist, Wolt with the one that killed the game.

And after today’s performance it was once again proved why I pay to watch us and that’s why I am not employed by NUFC.

It’s a fantastic away win. Fully deserved.
On paper it looked tough, but this rejuvenated team went there and conquered Spurs, who still look a mess.
Jaissle got the tactics spot on and the game plan was executed to perfection.
Wissa is back and so is Elanga. Fresh starts for both and they’re repaying us big time.
It’s been a been a great week for the club.’

And that’s just why we came 12th last year, cos of so called star players who actually aren’t that good.
Miley dominated the midfield with Nico. Wissa and Elanga look like they have been reborn. Hopefully Nick gets confidence from the knock down for the Wissa goal.
I reckon there’s going to be a few surprises this season.
A couple more players and we will be a very tidy looking side.
Love the manager. He needs a shirt, you can tell he’s desperate to get on the pitch!
Special mention to Sky and their lining up the commentary team to celebrate a Spurs win. Unlucky lads. Hahaha.’

‘The Matthias Jaissle era has arrived.
After two performances which showed some real signs of promise, we witnessed the first vision of what our new manager can bring to the club.
Wissa and Elanga were excellent yet again, both getting on the score sheet.
For me though the classy presence of Nico in midfield made the difference. It allowed the immensely talented Steur the chance to come on late and contribute in a more meaningful way but more importantly we saw his tremendous range of passing releasing our pacey attack.’
