Nick Woltemade has now completed his move to Juventus.
Tuesday night seeing Newcastle United reveal the news.

A deadline day move for the Germany international.
The official NUFC announcement starting: ‘Newcastle United forward Nick Woltemade has completed a season-long loan move to Serie A side Juventus. The German international has featured 53 times in all competitions, scoring 11 goals, since joining the Magpies from VfB Stuttgart last summer. Nick appeared as a second-half substitute during Saturday’s 2-0 Premier League victory away to Tottenham Hotspur.’
The club going on to say: ‘The 24-year-old will now link up with Luciano Spalletti’s Juventus, who sit fourth in the Italian top-flight after winning both of their opening fixtures. Everybody at Newcastle United wishes Nick the very best of luck for the season ahead.’
No mention of what Juventus will pay but Newcastle United banking a £3.5m loan fee (reported as a straight loan with no obligation/option to buy) according to widespread media reports.
The fact that this also means the Germany international’s wages will be paid by another club for this season, makes it a far from insignificant deal when it comes to balancing the finances, especially with the UEFA SCR situation that Newcastle United face.
Nick Woltemade arriving in Turin swiftly followed the signing of Matias Fernandez-Pardo at Newcastle United, the 21-year-old striker with rapid pace who has signing in a reported £55m deal from Lille.
Juventus needed another attacking option after Jonathan David moved on loan to Atletico Madrid.
The Turin-based club have started the season with a maximum six points from their opening two Serie A matches.

Nick Woltemade will join former Newcastle United defender Lloyd Kelly at Juventus, Kelly started in the 1-0 win over Frosinone and then came off the bench during the 2-0 victory over Parma.
Big Nick will also have the chance to play Europa League football with his loan club this season.
