Anthony Gordon is on his way to Barcelona.
Thursday afternoon seeing him fly off from Newcastle Airport on a private jet.
The Newcastle United star set to take his medical when he arrives, before completing the final paperwork and becoming a Barcelona player.
Anthony Gordon was widely expected to end up at Bayern Munich but Barcelona Sporting Director Deco met Newcastle United officials this week in London to negotiate and agree a deal.
Things moved fast on Wednesday with a formal offer of €80m (Approx £69.3m) plus a sell-on clause made for the United player and last night the news came that Newcastle United had accepted the Barcelona bid.
The Barcelona President also confirming that the Anthony Gordon signing is set to be concluded. Joan Laporta going public on the imminent transfer: “The Gordon deal is being done but it is not completed yet. I have already been informed about everything.”
Now Sky Sports have released exclusive footage of Anthony Gordon boarding a private jet on Thursday afternoon to take him to Barcelona.

A bit of confusion about the transfer fee and how it is put together but looking at what they are saying in the Spanish media it appears to be €70m (Approx £60.64m) up front fee plus €10m (Approx £8.66m) in add-ons, making up a total of €80m (Approx £69.3m), plus a sell-on clause.
There appears to have been a clear determination from both Anthony Gordon and Newcastle United to get a deal done before the World Cup finals. In only four days time the England squad fly to the United States on 1 July to begin their preparations with a training camp and warm up friendlies, ahead of the opening group match on 17 June against Croatia.
