The confirmed Newcastle team v Aston Villa has now been announced.

Eddie Howe and his team looking to make it consecutive victories.

Consecutive away wins.

If following up Tuesday night’s victory at Spurs, this would be Newcastle United’s fifth away win of the season in all competitions.

This FA Cup match kicking off 5.45pm at Villa Park.

Newcastle team v Aston Villa:

Ramsdale, Trippier, Thiaw, Burn, Hall, Ramsey, Tonali, Barnes, Jacob Murphy, Woltemade, Osula

So that means six changes from the eleven that started against Spurs on Tuesday.

An interesting selection and so will it be Nick Woltemade playing in behind Will Osula?

Newcastle United playing a 4-4-1-1 formation?

IN

Ramsdale, Hall, Tonali, Jacob Murphy, Woltemade, Osula

OUT

Pope, Botman, Bruno, Willock, Elanga, Gordon

So many matches and Eddie Howe can’t keep playing all of the same players every game, especially in certain positions.

SUBS:

Pope, Ruddy, Gordon, Elanga, Willock, Alex Murphy, Shahar, Neave, Seung-soo

We all knew Bruno Guimaraes wouldn’t be in the matchday squad but not great to see Sven Botman and Yoane Wissa also absent.
