In my heart of hearts I really wanted to be here at Newcastle and by the grace of God that is what has actually happened. Everybody knows Newcastle, whether it be in my country or anywhere else. Everybody is aware of Newcastle, Newcastle is a big club. I will give it my all for the shirt. It is all about giving one hundred per cent and always being respectful to everyone here, including the fans. I have seen the supporters here and I hope I can make them feel good so that they can trust me. I would like to acknowledge the Ivorian player who was here Cheick [Tiote], and send condolences to his whole family.”
