Bruno Guimaraes and Brazil have played their final warm up match before they kick off their World Cup group matches.
A friendly match against Egypt in Cleveland, Ohio.
It only took seven minutes for Brazil to take the lead, Bruno Guimaraes catching one of the Egypt players in possession some five yards outside the box. The Newcastle United star then from just inside the penalty area curling a classy finish into the bottom right corner.
Only four minutes later though it was all square.
A misplaced back pass from Brazil defender Marquinhos saw Eqypt’s Zico get to the ball first and beat Alisson to make it 1-1.
That didn’t stop Brazil’s first half dominance though as only a series of excellent saves from Shobeir in the opposition goal kept Egypt in the contest.
Vinicius Jnr and Raphinha came close to scoring, as did Brentford striker Igor Thiago when Bruno Guimaraes played him in.
Spreading valuable minutes on the pitch around the team, Carlo Ancelotti made eight changes for the second half with Bruno one of those to come off.
Seven minutes after the break and Brazil were back in front, Raphinha setting up Endrick for a left foot finish.
That proved to be the end of the scoring as Brazil continued to be the better team but didn’t really reach the heights of their first half display.
