Pretty much everything is going against us at Newcastle United.
The current position is that the club can’t compete on wages, stadia or training ground.
Newcastle United are the richest club in the world.
Yet they are also a football club that has to sell before they can buy.
Eddie Howe has left at the absolute worst time.
I know continuity will be kept with the imminent appointment of Matthias Jaissle.
The truth is though, Eddie Howe should have gone in May, or alternatively, he should have seen this upcoming 2026/27 Premier League season out.
Now is the time for the Newcastle United owners to provide some positive news.
Whether this is in the form of physical plans for a new training ground, or better still, a new stadium.
We have got to keep faith with the club and the decisions that are being made, but for all our sakes as Newcastle United fans, please throw us a bone!
