Monday has now brought an update on Newcastle United live TV matches.
We already knew that four of the five opening Premier League matches had been chosen for live TV.
With the Carabao Cup game against West Brom also to be shown live.
Now four more have been added.
All four of the Premier League matches in October moved and to be shown on Sky Sports.
So nine of Newcastle United’s opening ten matches of the season to be shown live on UK TV.
The announcement is actually a week earlier than the Premier League had suggested would be the case (see below).
These are the Premier League matches for Newcastle United until the end of October.
Sunday 23 August – Newcastle v Liverpool (4.30pm) Sky Sports
Wednesday 26 August – Newcastle v West Brom (7.45pm) Sky Sports (All Carabao Cup matches are on Sky)

Monday 14 September – Leeds v Newcastle (a) (8pm) Sky Sports*
Saturday 19 September – Newcastle v Hull (3pm) No live TV
Monday 12 October – Coventry v Newcastle (8pm) Sky Sports
Saturday 17 October – Newcastle v Aston Villa (5.30pm) Sky Sports
Sunday 25 October – Crystal Palace v Newcastle (2pm) Sky Sports

*For the Leeds away match, last month NUFC announced: ‘Eddie Howe’s side were due to face Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday 12 September but the game has been moved to Monday 14 September, kicking off at 8pm BST. That clash will be shown live on Sky Sports. Please note should either club reach the Carabao Cup third round and be scheduled to play against a club participating in this season’s UEFA Champions League, the match will revert to Saturday 12 September and take place at 12:30pm BST.’
