Looking at these Premier League fixtures on Saturday, this latest round of matches.

Seeing the other games from a Newcastle United perspective.

Eddie Howe and his players not playing until Sunday, away at Crystal Palace.

Four Premier League fixtures today.

As a Newcastle United fan, have a look at these four Premier League fixtures today and have a think about what you’d like to happen and what is most likely in terms of results.

Before that though, let’s have a quick look at the table before any of these Premier League fixtures are played on Saturday.

Premier League table on the morning of Saturday 11 April 2026

The weekend Premier League fixtures kicked off on Friday night. West Ham winning 4-0 and sending Tottenham into the bottom three, the latest defeat for Wolves taking them another step nearer their inevitable relegation.

My conclusions and predictions on Saturday’s matches

Arsenal v Bournemouth (12.30pm)

Arsenal look to be grinding their way to the title. After a run of only two wins in seven Premier League matches, Arteta’s team have won their last four.

However, they are up against a Bournemouth side that are undefeated in 11 Premier League matches. Indeed, the south coast side have lost only two of their last 17 PL matches, one of those two defeats a 3-2 at home to Arsenal.

Bournemouth are the draw specialists and they have 11 in these last 17, with four wins and the two defeats.

They have had weeks to prepare, whilst Arsenal had a Champions League midweek game in Portugal. I fancy Bournemouth to add another draw.

I can’t want Arsenal to win and whilst a draw would mean Bournemouth moving a point above Newcastle United. If we are to threaten the European places then I don’t see that proving a major setback.

Brentford v Everton (3pm)

These two teams are seventh and eighth and a draw would see them both five points above United.

Brentford are another difficult to beat team, losing only three of their last 16, with seven wins and six draws.

Everton have lost only four of their last 14, with six wins and four draws.

Any result is possible here but a draw is surely most likely.

That would suit Newcastle United I think, if we hope to see NUFC potentially get above both of them. A draw in this game then a win at Palace tomorrow, would see Newcastle two points behind both.

Burnley v Brighton (3pm)

After one win in 13, Brighton have now won four of their last five.

Burnley have won only one of their last 22 PL matches but have shown some spirit recently, avoiding defeat in six of their last 11.

You would have to back Brighton as most likely winners but I think some hope Burnley can get a draw, in their last home match they got a goalless draw against Bournemouth. Whilst they have also recently won away at Crystal Palace and drawn at Chelsea in their last six games.

A draw would keep Brighton only two points above Newcastle.

Liverpool v Fulham (5.30pm)

Liverpool lost at PSG in midweek, it was 2-0 but should have been at least five or six as the scousers didn’t have a single shot on target and only one corner.

Their last three Premier League matches have seen them lose to Wolves and Brighton, plus a draw at home to Spurs.

With only four wins in their last 13 PL games, you can’t fancy Liverpool here. Although no doubt they will be made big favourites.

Fulham have won three and drawn one of their last five PL games.

I can’t see Fulham losing and think every chance of an away win. If that happens and Newcastle United win at Palace, Eddie Howe’s side would be four points adrift of Liverpool who are currently fifth and two points behind Fulham.

I would definitely settle for that!
