The question we are asking fans today: Is it good news or bad news for Newcastle United that Eddie Howe is leaving?
The breaking news on Thursday morning, reported right across the media, is that the United boss has resigned.
The likes of Sky Sports and Talksport also adding that Eddie Howe has been effectively holding the fort in recent weeks.
Eddie Howe holding on until his replacement was ready to come in.
That imminent replacement said to be Matthias Jaissle, who has a release clause at Saudi club Al Ahli.
After an incredible job he did when saving Newcastle United from relegation, the last four seasons have seen Eddie Howe and his players finish the season in 4th, 7th, 5th and 12th places. Two Champions League qualifications and winning the Carabao Cup.
