When it comes to England Caps, Lewis Hall hoping to pick up his seventh tonight when the Czech Republic visit Wembley.
Very unlucky not to go to the 2026 World Cup finals, Thomas Tuchel has now seen close up just how good the Newcastle United star is.
Lewis Hall is comfortably the best left-back that England have, he’s also arguably the very best in the Premier League. I certainly wouldn’t be swapping him for anybody else.
From 1901 up to the present day, these last 125 years, a total of 342 England caps have now been picked up so far by 44 different Newcastle United players (whilst they were also playing for NUFC).
That will of course tick over to 343 England Caps if Lewis Hall gets onto the pitch tonight.
An incredible eight different Newcastle United players played for England during the time Eddie Howe was in charge at NUFC, with seven of them signed by him.
Under Eddie Howe there was almost 70 England caps won by Newcastle United players whilst also playing for NUFC, Lewis Hall has now been responsible for the first two under Matthias Jaissle. Safe to say I think there will be many more to come for the lifelong United fan.
