With all the turmoil surrounding Newcastle United in recent weeks, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to remain optimistic about the upcoming season.
I thought Bruno Guimaraes would be the final nail in the coffin.
However, Eddie Howe now gone.
With media claims that potentially Joelinton and Lewis Hall could go too.
Ever since the latter derby defeat, I believed it was time for a managerial change.
Now that it has happened though, I just feel so sad that our time as “Eddie Howe’s Black and White Army” has come to an end.
However, I also feel a strong sense of pride for what we have achieved.
The Newcastle United fans are being thoroughly tested here.
I think it is really important to remember all that we have been through as a fanbase.
We have been through bad times before and always gotten to the other side with our head held high.
We need to stay united as a city, back the new gaffer and players through whatever is coming.
Even if that means enduring another disappointing season in the Premier League.
While maybe not this upcoming 2026-27 season, I thoroughly believe good times are coming once again for Newcastle United and I’m so excited for the journey ahead.
