The club have officially unveiled a Newcastle United Season Ticket waiting list.
This is to be launched ahead of next season.
Thursday’s official announcement declaring: ‘We are delighted to be launching a Season Ticket waiting list ahead of next season, following a compelling and considered proposition from our Fan Advisory Board (FAB). With demand for tickets at unprecedented levels, the newly formed waiting list will allow all Mags, Mags+ and Junior Mags members to register for the opportunity to purchase season tickets for future seasons. The new process will ensure supporters gain more clarity on accessibility for season tickets, whilst single match tickets will still be available via the members’ ballot.’
Despite fluctuating form on the pitch this season, Newcastle United members finding it ever more difficult to get tickets match by match.
Today’s official release going on to say: ‘This new initiative has been developed following fan consultation and requests made to the FAB, in which supporters have requested the opportunity to be on a waiting list for season tickets. A minimum of 250 season tickets will be made available to supporters on the waiting list for the 2026/27 season. Fans registering their interest to join the waiting list will be able to view their position on the waiting list in their ticketing account. Positions on the waiting list will not be confirmed until the full process has been completed.’
As for how this will all work.
The club explaining how you can join this Newcastle United season ticket waiting list: ‘Mags, Mags+ and Junior Mags members can sign up to the Season Ticket waiting list free of charge from Monday 18th May to Sunday 31st May. A step by step guide explaining how to apply for the Season Ticket waiting list will be sent to all supporters on 18 May. This will also confirm which priority band you are in. The same information will also be added to the extensive Season Ticket waiting list FAQs on our Help Centre here closer to the time to help guide supporters through the process. Should a current Season Ticket holder choose not to renew their Season Ticket, their seat will be made available to the next person on the waiting list. Under 14’s will be required to sit with an adult. You can apply separately for an under 14’s ticket but they won’t be offered a ticket without an accompanying adult next to them. If you already have a season ticket and the under 14 you have applied for has been offered a season ticket, you will be required to move to ensure the under 14 isn’t unaccompanied.’
