ANOTHER WEEKEND. ANOTHER HUGE VAR CONTROVERSY. WHEN IS IT GOING TO IMPROVE?!
VAR is once again dominating the Premier League conversation after Pro Ref admitted it got a major decision WRONG in the Manchester derby.
Erling Haaland's winner for Manchester City was initially ruled out for offside before VAR overturned the decision. Pro Ref has since admitted VAR failed to properly consider the involvement of an offside player and should have sent the referee to the monitor.
For Newcastle supporters, it's another reminder of the frustration we've experienced with VAR and refereeing decisions.
