Newcastle United can take a massive leap towards securing Champions League football if they defeat Crystal Palace this week.
The good times just keep on rolling for Newcastle United, who dismantled Manchester United with ease on Sunday as they pasted them 4-1.
Harvey Barnes was the star of the show with two goals, while Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes also got in on the act.
The victory stands Newcastle in good stead as they aim to return to the Champions League and they can get even closer to doing so when they take on Crystal Palace.
It’s the Magpies’ game in hand from competing in the Carabao Cup final and, if they are victorious, they will go two points above Nottingham Forest into third and four clear of fifth-placed Manchester City.
With five places guaranteeing passage to Europe’s top competition, Newcastle will be sitting pretty if they pick up all three points and here is everything you need to know about the fixture.

After being admitted to hospital with illness, Howe has been diagnosed with pneumonia and will miss Wednesday’s game as well as Saturday’s match against Aston Villa.
In better news, Joe Willock is back available after recovering from his concussion.
“He’s now exiting the concussion protocols so he’s available now to be involved in the squad tomorrow,” Jason Tindall said ahead of the match.
“Everybody has come away from Sunday fine. It was good to get Anthony Gordon some minutes and good to have him back with the qualities he’s got. The squad is in good shape.”
Sven Botman is still sidelined but is making good progress, while Lewis Hall and Jamaal Lascelles are still out.
Palace, meanwhile, welcome back suspended pair Marc Guehi and Eddie Nketiah, as well as Romain Esse and Matt Turner after recovering from knocks.
They will be without Chadi Dnanoue and Cheick Doucoure.
