Eddie Howe might have done it again after Anthony Elanga prediction
Howe has constantly backed Elanga and effectively promised he would improve once he had settled into the club.
The Newcastle United manager hasn’t made many poor signings since he arrived at the club and has consistently improved the players he’s worked with.
Though there’s still a long way to go yet, the 23-year-old put in his best display yet.
Elanga has a lot of competition from Jacob Murphy on the right wing but more performances like that will give Howe a lot to think about.
Howe may yet be proven right once again.
