All you need to know 👇

Newcastle United are back in Premier League action on Saturday as Fulham come to St James’ Park.

Heading into the ninth round of Premier League fixtures, Newcastle United sit 14th in the table after a mixed start.

Eddie Howe’s side have won only two games this season and while their Champions League form has been impressive, things need to improve on the domestic front.

A home game against a team who have lost three consecutive Premier League games should offer the Magpies a perfect platform at St James’ Park.

Newcastle are favourites to win against Fulham and anything other than three points would be a huge disappointment, particularly after the high of beating Benfica on Tuesday night.

Having said all that, here’s all you need to know.

Newcastle United vs Fulham prediction

Fulham haven’t won any away game all season, losing three times on the road while drawing the other one. Missing some key players and struggling for goals, Newcastle have to be winning this game.

Their defence remains rock solid and hopefully the attacking performance Newcastle put in against Benfica on Tuesday night repeats itself here.

Score prediction: Newcastle United 2-0 Fulham

Newcastle United vs Fulham confirmed referee

The Premier League have confirmed that Peter Bankes will referee the match. John Brooks will be on VAR duty.

Head to head (h2h) history and results

Fulham beat Newcastle home and away last season, so Howe’s side will be out for revenge.
