Yoane Wissa is in line for his Newcastle United debut against Burnley in Saturday’s Premier League game.
A whole 96 days after Wissa joined Newcastle United from Brentford, the 29-year-old is in Eddie Howe’s squad for the first time.
Newcastle will be widely expected to beat the Clarets at St James’ Park and having the DR Congo international available is a major boost ahead of the clash.
THE YOANE WISSA ERA AT NEWCASTLE HAS DAWNED 😍😍
£50m worth of Premier League goals has just arrived at St James' Park!
Still, Wissa’s knee injury has denied him the chance to play a Premier League game since May and the striker is only afforded a place on the bench.
As expected, Aaron Ramsdale continues in goal in Nick Pope’s injury absence, while Sandro Tonali is also involved.
Tonali suffered a knock against Tottenham but has shaken that off to make the bench.
Joe Willock and Jacob Ramsey partner Bruno Guimaraes in midfield, while Lewis Hall is also handed a rest. Tino Livramento, however, starts given the lack of options at right-back.

Newcastle United’s confirmed injury list vs Burnley
Newcastle’s injury list remains plentiful, which is not particularly helpful given Howe’s side are heading to Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday before playing Sunderland next weekend.
Kieran Trippier, William Osula, Emil Krafth and Sven Botman join Pope in missing the game.
Howe does not have many options in his squad right now, making Wissa’s return all the more important.
Nick Woltemade finally has cover and Newcastle vs Burnley could see the start of the Wissa era on Tyneside.
Newcastle will need to hope they don’t pick up any further injuries in Saturday’s game, considering their two trips to come.
Three points and emerging from the game unscathed are surely all that matters at this point in time.
