Newcastle United host Leeds United in another huge Premier League clash on Wednesday night.

It’s another big chance for Newcastle United to prove they have turned a corner in the Premier League.

Recent wins over Burnley and Crystal Palace have lifted the mood somewhat but it would be fair to say that Eddie Howe’s side do not yet fully convince.

Still, another home game does offer Newcastle the chance to build on a good few days. Generally, they are much stronger at St James’ Park than they are away from home.

A clash against Leeds is always a tantalising spectacle so here’s everything you need to know about where to watch the game.

Newcastle United’s all-time head-to-head (h2h) record vs Leeds

There have been 101 meetings between the two sides, with the first coming way back in November 1924.

Overall, Newcastle have a positive record against the Yorkshire outfit – although only a slight one.

Newcastle have won 40 of their meetings, while Leeds have won 39. The other 22 games have resulted in a draw.

The Magpies have not lost to the Whites since January 2021, when Raphinha and Jack Harrison struck at St James’ Park either side of a Miguel Almiron goal at St James’ Park.

If Newcastle can extend their good run against Leeds, the second half of the season will look a lot more promising.
