The Newcastle United owners have put out an end of season message.

Sunday seeing the 58th and very final match of this 2025/26 campaign played out.

On behalf of the club’s ownership group, Newcastle United Director Jamie Reuben stating: “All of us from ownership down to the coaching staff and players will work tirelessly over the summer to advance our project, come back stronger and start the new season in the best way possible.”

A tame 2-0 defeat at Craven Cottage bringing boos from the travelling fans at the end of an uninspiring league season.

The final count across all competitions seeing the 2025/26 season end with 25 Newcastle United victories, 10 draws, 23 defeats.

The sentiment from Jamie Reuben and the Newcastle United ownership group as a whole: “Thank you to the travelling support today, clearly a very disappointing result at the the end of an underwhelming season, despite some great moments in the champions league and other domestic cups we have not lived up to where we should and need to be…To all our supporters, staff everyone associated with Newcastle United thank you for your support.”
