Friday morning saw Thomas Tuchel name his latest England squad, this one including five Newcastle United players.
This latest England squad is for the March 2026 internationals, two friendlies.
England have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup finals as top of the group.
It is England v Uruguay on Friday 27 March, with a 7.45pm kick-off, then it is England v Japan kicking off at 7.45pm on Tuesday 31 March.
However, only three of the Newcastle United players will be part of the England squad initially, these are Tino Livramento, Aaron Ramsdale and Lewis Hall.
Thomas Tuchel naming 35 players in his latest England squad but now Ian Dennis revealing that 11 of them will only join in time for the Japan match, so won’t be in consideration for the Uruguay game.
Anthony Gordon and Dan Burn are two of those eleven that will join late, alongside Henderson, Guehi, Konsa, O’Reilly, Anderson, Saka, Kane, Rogers and Rice.
