Harry Redknapp giving his opinion with four weeks of this Premier League season remaining.
The former Spurs and West Ham manager discussing Newcastle United and Arsenal ahead of the weekend.
Five rounds of Premier League matches still to go.
Mikel Arteta and Arsenal have been knocked off the top of the table and desperate to win back that place from Manchester City.
Whilst Eddie Howe and Newcastle United looking to bounce back from a run of three Premier League defeats and head into the summer with some confidence and momentum restored.
Harry Redknapp commenting on the situation surrounding NUFC and Eddie Howe: “I suppose the good news for Arsenal is that Newcastle arrive here in such poor form. They’re really struggling and look so short of confidence. It’s a big few weeks ahead for them and for Eddie Howe.”
The pressure of course is on Mikel Arteta and Arsenal as well, having lost their last two Premier League matches.
In the space of less than two weeks the Gunners have gone from a position of nine points clear at the top, to now being behind Manchester City.
Harry Redknapp summing up the reality with these five Premier League rounds of games left to play: “Wow, what a massive, massive game this now is for Arsenal. They actually played alright at the Etihad last week, but that defeat has piled on the pressure, what a title race we’ve got!”
Arsenal fans are panicking, so many of them believing that Mikel Arteta is bottling it once again.
Anything less than a home win will be seen as a disaster.
Harry Redknapp giving his verdict to BetVictor and predicting that Arsenal fans are going to be panicking even more after Saturday, forecasting a 1-1 draw: “It will be a very nervy atmosphere here, we saw that against against Bournemouth. I just think Newcastle could really frustrate them.”
Saturday is one of those occasions where if indeed it does end up as a draw, for one team it will feel very much like a defeat, whilst for the opposition it will feel for sure like a victory.
