We had chances but our shooting was poor tonight. They had their chances too, for a Championship team I thought they played well.
A great goal, so well worked and a class finish from Willock thankfully takes us into round 4.

‘More challenging than expected considering Millwall’s abundance of missing players.
We were deserving of the victory but look unimaginative against a compact defence.
The next three teams are likely to set up in a similar way so we need to start breaking teams down if we’re going to kick on from our solid start.’

We were worse in that second half but managed to produce a nice move for Willock to slot home.
The manager went with a strong line up and that was the right call. We looked a bit blunt up front though.

‘Well, we got through to round 4 of the Carabao Cup without setting the competition alight.
It was a dull game, with Millwall providing more moments of excitement than we did.
I thought we might see all of our youngsters starting this game but maybe Jaissle felt Millwall away was a job for more experienced pros.
We had most of the ball but didn’t do a lot with it. However, we conjured up a good move for the goal.
That’s another win to preserve our unbeaten start to the season and we’re into the last 16 again. I’d call it a good night’s work.’
