The 2026/27 Newcastle United Premier League fixtures are out and Sky Sports have made their first live game selections of the season.

Between them, TNT Sports and Sky Sports moving seven of the games for live coverage on the opening weekend.

I think fair to say that in that opening weekend of matches in August, the Premier League match that stands out the most is the one at St James’ Park.

You would almost think this was all fixed…

The same as last season, the first Newcastle United home match of the season is against Liverpool and selected by Sky Sports.

The game moved from 3pm on Saturday 22 August to a 4.30pm kick-off on Sunday 23 August.

These are the Premier League fixtures on the opening weekend of the season and the TV selections included in that. The full fixture schedule for Newcastle United’s Premier League season is also detailed below.
