Sean Neave has finally had his loan move to Wolves officially confirmed.
At 10am on Wednesday morning Newcastle United putting out an official statement.
Sean Neave joining his former Newcastle United teammate Kieran Trippier, as well as one-time NUFC striker Adam Armstrong.
That makes it a total of 26 transfers in this summer 2026 Newcastle United transfer window, with eight coming in and 18 going out.
The official club statement starting: ‘Newcastle United striker Sean Neave has joined Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan for the 2026/27 season. Sean, who has represented England at Under-19 level, joined Newcastle’s Academy as a 13-year-old and was part of the Magpies’ 2025 Carabao Cup winning squad. The 19-year-old made his senior debut for the club in February 2026, featuring in a 6–1 UEFA Champions League win over Qarabağ FK. On the final day of the 2025/26 campaign, he made his Premier League debut, coming off the bench against Fulham at Craven Cottage.’
The Newcastle United official release ending with: ‘He now joins César Peixoto’s side who currently sit third in the Championship following a strong start to the season. Everyone at Newcastle United wishes Sean the very best for his loan spell at Molineux.’

So based on these loose figures which include the reported potential future add-ons, it comes out as a £35m (£34.7m to be exact) net spend by Newcastle United this summer.
