Looking at these Premier League fixtures on Saturday, in this latest round of matches.

Seeing the other games from a Newcastle United perspective.

Eddie Howe and his players playing 5.30pm at the Emirates against Arsenal.

Four other Premier League fixtures today ahead of that.

As a Newcastle United fan, have a look at these Premier League fixtures today and have a think about what you’d like to happen and what is most likely in terms of results.

Before that though, let’s have a quick look at the table before any of these Premier League fixtures are played on Saturday.

Premier League table on the morning of Saturday 25 April 2026

My conclusions and predictions on Saturday’s matches

Fulham v Aston Villa (12.30pm)

Fulham have won only one of their last five and that was at home against Burnley who have been relegated.

Aston Villa haven’t won away in the league since exactly three months ago, at St James’ Park. After three PL defeats in a row it looks like Villa have now steadied the ship with seven points from their last three league games, although they did their best to throw a win away last weekend when leading 3-1 against the Mackems, needing an eventual added time winner.

Villa are away and gone in terms of Newcastle catching them but Fulham one of those sides that United can still hope to get above, so I suppose we should want an away win. I think though everything points to a draw.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace (3pm)

Liverpool looking far from convincing and after one point from three PL games, rather fortunate to beat Fulham and Everton in their last two, a late winner in the derby needed.

Crystal Palace in their last four have won at Spurs and got goalless draws at home against Leeds and West Ham, in between those 0-0 draws they scrambled a late victory over Newcastle thanks to a soft penalty.

Newcastle aren’t going to overhaul Liverpool and so I suppose we should want them to win. However, I can’t bring myself to want that and I think Palace will get something here. Maybe even a third goalless draw in four games.

West Ham v Everton (3pm)

This is where it gets interesting as a neutral, the fight for relegation which looks to involve only two teams now thanks to Forest smashing Sunderland.

Two matches kicking off at the same time and by 5pm we could have a very good idea of which club is set to drop, along with Burnley and Wolves.

West Ham have only lost one of their last five and that was away at Villa. Everton have won just one of their four.

As a Newcastle fan, it is possible to catch the scouse mackems. Plus no doubt, like me most of you want Spurs to go down rather than the Hammers.

Hopefully they will win and I think they will get at least a point, a home game and so much to play for. A draw possibly the most likely result but as I say, fingers crossed for West Ham.

Wolves v Tottenham (3pm)

Bottom against third bottom. Already relegated against most likely to be relegated with them.

Tottenham almost got a massive new manager bounce but looked increasingly desperate at home to Brighton, eventually conceding in adding time for a 2-2 draw. Maybe if they had held on you could have fancied them today but reality is that Spurs haven’t won a single league match in 2026, fifteen without a win.

Wolves have been hammered 4-0 and 3-0 in their last two matches, away at West Ham and Leeds.

At home though they haven’t lost in two and a half months and have defeated Liverpool as well as getting draws against Arsenal and Villa.

I think Wolves are a great bet to win this and believe they will. Which I would be more than happy with, especially if West Ham win as well!

Arsenal v Newcastle United (5.30pm)

The only game that really matters of course today. Newcastle United looking to bounce back from three league defeats, whilst Arsenal have lost their last two.

Nerves setting in at Arsenal and whilst most neutrals will assume a home win, I think United could get a draw here.
