Manchester City fans have been commenting on the Premier League guilty verdicts.
Tuesday at last saw the Premier League officially announce those guilty verdicts on almost all of the 115 charges.
The Manchester City lawyers have managed to extend the process over a number of years.
However, the verdicts were damning when published.
Manchester City will be appealing.
However, Manchester City fans commenting via their Blue Moon message board after the Premier League announcement:
‘I have never felt more down about the club. Had a few sleepless nights since Friday, last night was the worst of the lot. This club, which I have loved since I could stand, could well be changed forever in the next couple years.
I don’t foresee a massive fine and transfer ban, what we will get is a massive points deduction sending us to oblivion, or Div 1 as some people call it.
Please people take off your blue tinted specs, they are baying for blood and won’t be satisfied until they have ripped us to shreds. With this comes knock on effects.
There will be a massive fire sale where the same clubs who call us cheats will be the first to break down our door for players. Cherki to Liverpool, Guehi to Arsenal and Lewis to Tottenham. I hope Haaland does the decent thing and goes abroad but could you imagine watching Prem football with players who they have basically stolen from you. No, they won’t stay because they love the club, they have a career and a limited amount of playing time, and money talks. It is sad, very sad, and I’ll admit to getting choked up at times. It feels like the death of a close relative. I feel sick.
To those happy clappers in their own world who say that it will be like the old days you are sadly deluded. You will be sat in a lovely stadium watching awful football and getting all misty eyed about how it used to be when we were good. Also we had a massively increasing fan base around the world, not least young kids all growing up supporting City because of Aguero, Haaland etc. They will be crushed, its their formative years and if you think they will follow us down to Div 1 then you are mistaken.
If we ever get back to the Prem, if we have not been liquidated, then we will have the pulling power of Fulham, Sunderland etc as they will not let us back into a position of strength.’

One person sits on both sides of the deal. Proving that was indeed an arms-length transaction on appeal will be very difficult.’

Or why the state would route its funding of a company it owns through a private investment fund?
