The question we were asking on Wednesday: Which 11 players would you pick in the Newcastle United team in a 2027 Carabao Cup final?
This season’s Carabao Cup final to be played on Sunday 21 March 2027.
So the question really was, what do you think will be the best Newcastle United team by that point?
Only seven games into this season so far in all competitions, Matthias Jaissle making an excellent start to his NUFC era with only one defeat, whilst overseeing four wins and two draws so far.
If Newcastle United did make it to a third Carabao Cup final in five seasons, what would your opinion be of the best starting eleven in just under six months time?
By then all the summer 2026 signings will have had a chance to adapt and integrate.
So if all players were fit, what do you anticipate would be the ideal Newcastle United team to play at Wembley on 21 March 2027, if Jaissle’s players get there?
We listed 24 Newcastle United players for fans to select from.
