It is now official, Bazoumana Toure is a Newcastle United player.
The exciting 20-year-old winger becomes United’s second summer 2026 signing.
Goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen having already arrived from Stade de Reims in a £24m deal.
An official Newcastle United announcement on Sunday revealing that Bazoumana Toure is now part of the NUFC first team squad.
As usual, Newcastle United not making the transfer fee public. However, in advance of the formal announcement the media in both the UK and Germany had reported it as a deal of around £43m (€50m).
The club also just refer to a ‘long-term’ contract but it had been widely reported as a five-year deal.
Bazoumana Toure arrived in Newcastle on Thursday for a medical after a transfer fee was agreed with Hoffenheim. The Ivory Coast winger flying direct from the USA after his team were knocked out of the World Cup by Norway.
The 20-year-old winger was pictured on social media on Friday getting shown around St James’ Park and no doubt doing his NUFC media stuff ahead of the official announcement.
