The England Under 18s squad selection is especially great news for Newcastle United, with two rising young United stars included in the 24 player squad.
Newcastle United goalkeeper Roman Dowell is still only 16 and he has been named as part of this England Under 18s squad.
Whilst the other young Newcastle United star to make this England Under 18s squad is Kyran Thompson. The exciting attacking player turned 17 in September and turned down a contract at Arsenal to move to United.
Some great work going on in the younger age levels at Newcastle United, time and resources put into recruiting the best young talent locally and across the UK, as well as from overseas.
There are some great young players with real first team potential for the future.
