Fulham v Newcastle United is one of those (what feels like) rare matches where everything…

Newcastle United are off to play Fulham.

The final game of this 2025/26 Premier League season for Eddie Howe and his team.

A 4pm kick-off (same as the other nine Premier League matches on the final day of the season) at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

It feels like pretty much every week that before our next match, so many statistics are trotted out as to why it is all but inevitable that Newcastle United will surely lose.

You know the kind of thing, haven’t won at this stadium for however many matches, never win against this team and so on.

With Fulham v Newcastle United though, it is one of those rare matches where everything…

The last six Newcastle United visits to Craven Cottage:

Fulham 0 Newcastle 4 (2018/19)
Fulham 0 Newcastle 2 (2020/21)
Fulham 1 Newcastle 4 (2022/23)
Fulham 0 Newcastle 2 (2023/24 FA Cup)
Fulham 0 Newcastle 1 (2023/24)
Fulham 3 Newcastle 1 (2024/25)

The last ten games between the two teams (home and away in all competitions) have seen eight Newcastle United wins and only two for Fulham.

Since 2017, Newcastle United have faced Fulham 13 times home and away in all competitions, Fulham have only won twice with one victory at Craven Cottage and one at St James’ Park.

When playing their final league match of the season in London, Newcastle United are unbeaten in their past seven (W6 D1), since a 3-2 loss at Spurs in 1972/73. This run includes 4-0 and 2-0 victories at Fulham in 2018/19 and 2020/21.

What could possibly go wrong on Sunday?
