Matthias Jaissle has been quizzed on the Manchester City guilty verdicts.
An independent commission finding them guilty on 114 of the 115 alleged breaches of the Premier League rules.
Manchester City have of course appealed against those guilty verdicts.
The imminent return of Premier League football this weekend has given the media access to various top tier managers.
Ahead of Thursday afternoon it was made clear by the media that all five Premier League managers who were conducting their pre-match press conferences today, would all be quizzed on the Manchester City guilty verdicts.
United boss Matthias Jaissle was speaking today ahead of the Coventry City match on Monday and he had this classy response when asked about the Manchester City guilty verdicts: “I think that as a manager of another club, I am not able to judge and it is not my job. Especially it is not in my job description to judge on that. The authorities are taking care of it and there is a clear process now which will be followed, speaking on behalf of the whole club it is the right approach to focus on what we we can do better and what we can influence on the pitch. We should just focus on what we can influence and, in general, as a club, to improve and strive forward. Just focus on what we can do better.”
Also speaking today was Frank Lampard, his Coventry City team host United on Monday night.
When asked about Manchester City the Sky Blues boss replying: “What can you say when an appeal is going on? I’m not inside the story. They are a huge football club now, a huge squad of quality players, so we will see.”
Daniel Farke was also quizzed today, the Leeds boss saying when asked about Man City: “It makes no sense if right now everyone wants to have an opinion about this topic. There are more qualified people to talk about this and it is nothing to do with me, I was not involved in the title race during those years.”
Not to be left out, Bournemouth manager Marco Rose stating today about Manchester City and the guilty verdicts: “I trust in the guys who are involved in these kinds of situations and we will see what happens. I’m a football coach not a politician and I love to be a football coach and it should stay like this.”
Despite the claims ahead of Thursday’s press conferences, for some reason the media attending the Regis le Bris press conference failed to ask the Mackem boss about Manchester City’s guilty charges.
