Newcastle United fans have now found out when the Millwall match will take place.
The Carabao Cup third round game will be played on Tuesday 8 September with an 8pm kick-off.
For those fans not able to get to the match, it will be shown live on Sky Sports Main Event.
Millwall were due to play Middlesbrough that night in the Championship but have moved that league match to Tuesday 15 September.
If Newcastle United progress past Millwall, the Carabao Cup fourth round games are to be played the week commencing Monday 26 October.
If NUFC are in fourth round action that will fall in between Palace away on Sunday 25 October and Everton at home on Monday 2 November.
