Harvey Barnes has agreed a new deal.
The England international signed for Newcastle United in 2023 for a reported £38m transfer.

Now with two years remaining, the now 28-year-old has agreed a new extended deal which the club have simply stated is a new ‘long-term contract’ with NUFC.
The club’s official announcement beginning: ‘Newcastle United winger Harvey Barnes has signed a new long-term contract with the club. The England international, who joined from Leicester City in summer 2023, had two years remaining on his original deal. Harvey registered a career high of 16 goals from 57 appearances in all competitions last season. He was rewarded with a return to the international stage in March and featured in the Wembley friendly against Uruguay, his first involvement with England for nearly six years. The 28-year-old’s Magpies tally of 30 goals from 120 games sees him boast an impressive one in four ratio for the club.’
After agreeing to extend his contract Harvey Barnes declaring: “It feels great to sign this new contract so early before the new season starts. It’s been an amazing journey so far and I’m delighted to continue that.”
The former Leicester star adding: “When I first joined the club I quickly learned what a special place it is, but after three years here I know that even more. I love everything about it – the city, the stadium, the people – and I’m really happy extending my time here. I’ve had a taste of success in the last few years and enjoyed some really special moments with this team. We all want more of that and I want to be a key player that helps push the club forward.”
