An official Newcastle United injury update ahead of the Bournemouth match.

Eddie Howe hoping to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

An excellent Premier League home win against Man U despite playing the majority of the game with only ten men. That St James’ Park win then backed up by the 1-0 triumph at Chelsea.

However, defeats against Sunderland and Palace have followed in the Premier League despite United scoring first in both matches.

Newcastle are now fourteenth in the Premier League but with the table so tight, only six points behind Chelsea who are sixth.

Official Newcastle United injury update from Eddie Howe:

Eddie Howe on Bruno Guimaraes

“There is a chance he can be fit for the weekend. We have seen him in training, he is pushing hard to be involved, he is desperate to help the team, desperate to be involved. So, there is a possibility, I will make a decision off the back of training today.”

Whilst our inspirational captain may finally return to the matchday squad, Bruno’s big mate Joelinton now starts a two game suspension after picking up 10 yellows in the opening 32 Premier League matches.
