Eddie Howe on Bruno Guimaraes
The United boss says that Bruno will travel to Barcelona to support the team next week.
With then the big news is that Eddie Howe confirms Bruno Guimaraes is scheduled to return after the international break, hoping to be available for the Champions League quarter-final (7/8 April) if United get past Barcelona.
Eddie Howe on Anthony Gordon
“I have to clear something up about Anthony Gordon. He was absolutely willing to start in the game against Barcelona. I have heard a lot of comments but it was my decision not to start him, based on the fact he had been ill that morning. He was prepared to play.”
Eddie Howe also confirming that Anthony Gordon training ok on Thursday and is in line to be available for Chelsea.
The Head Coach indicating that it is set to be the same matchday squad for Saturday, as was the case against Barcelona on Tuesday.
So it looks like still at least four players missing. Eddie Howe still set to be without Lewis Miley, Bruno Guimaraes, Emil Krafth and Fabian Schar.
