The new 2026/27 Newcastle United Home Shirt was officially launched on Wednesday 10 June 2026.
The Newcastle United official release declaring: ‘Our adidas home kit for the 2026/27 season has arrived, introducing a fresh, new take on the black‑and‑white stripes.’
The official announcement going on to describe the 2026/27 Newcastle United Home Shirt as follows: ‘This season’s shirt reimagines our classic look with a bold, disrupted stripe pattern. An energetic pop of colour around the crew neck collar also adds a fresh take on tradition. On the back of the neck sits a magpie, a subtle nod to our heritage and home. A future-thinking and progressive jersey has been paired with more traditional clean black shorts and socks to complete this season’s look. adidas has brought innovation to the jersey, with the authentic version featuring advanced Climacool+ technology. This is built to keep you cool, dry and comfortable, whether you’re playing five‑a‑side or roaring the lads and lasses on from the stands.’
Apart from the debate about the ‘barcode’ style of the new shirt, there was another big talking point.
The new 2026/27 Newcastle United Home Shirt not having a sponsor on the front, only the Noon one on the sleeve.

Following the release of that new home kit, it was then later announced that belatedly the club had found a new front of shirt sponsor.
Now on Wednesday (29 July 2026), the club with a new official announcement: ‘An update on our 2026/27 adidas home shirt and KNOX Hydrate. From Thursday, all home shirts will be sold with full KNOX Hydrate branding. Fans who’ve already bought an unbranded home shirt have the option to get KNOX Hydrate branding applied by the club free of charge.’
As for the price of the new 2026/27 Newcastle United Home Shirt?
£85 Adult
£90 Adult long-sleeved
£60 Kids
£120 Adult authentic shirt as worn by the players etc etc
£125 Adult authentic long-sleeved shirt as worn by the players etc etc
The rest of the new home kit:
£38 Adult shorts
£20 Kids shorts
£20 Socks for adults and kids
So it is a minimum of £143 (£85 shirt, £38 shorts, £20 socks) for the full adult home kit, whilst if you go for the adult authentic long-sleeved one then the total cost would be £183 for the full kit.
If your kids can still get into the sizes labelled as ‘kids’ (my experience when buying in the past is that even normal sized children very quickly need the adult sizes, especially the shirts), then it will be £100 for the full kit.
