The photo that Newcastle United fans had all wanted to see on Saturday night!

Matthias Jaissle taking charge of his first ever competitive Newcastle United away match.

An excellent game plan from the manager and perfect execution by his players.

Matthias Jaissle leading his team to a massive win over Tottenham.

Spending for fun Spurs losing (yet again!) to Newcastle United on home turf.

Quality finishes from Anthony Elanga and Yoane Wiss ensuring a first Premier League victory under Matthias Jaissle.

A winning snapshot post-match.

The all important winning photo =  The first of the season.

It is actually the 2nd victory of the season but they didn’t have a dressing room winning photo after West Brom in midweek.

Eddie Howe introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo at Newcastle United following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.

When a photo didn’t appear after the midweek win, it looked like Matthias Jaissle hadn’t bought into the idea, but maybe he was just saving it up so that the very first winning photo would be a Premier League one.

It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.

‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’

I absolutely love it.

Thirty-six more Premier League games to go this season (and fingers crossed many more in the cups), so hopefully plenty more of these photos to come.
