I saw that there was a possibility for Newcastle United fans to send in an own article to be published on The Mag.
It is the first time I have wrote an article but hopefully it will be considered to be published.
Please correct if there are any mistakes in the article because my first language is not English.

With the summer transfer window closed, there have been eight Newcastle United signings added to the first team squad.
So I have rated each of the new additions based on price, age… (ED: Viktor sent in this article ahead of Saturday afternoon, before the Bournemouth match was played)
Ewen Jaouen 6.5/10
The 20-year-old keeper was the first of the summer Newcastle United signings, joining from Stade Reims in Ligue 2.
The transfer was completed on the 13th of June for a lofty fee of £19 million. For a back-up goalkeeper that is quite expensive considering Hornicek cost only £7 million more then Jaouen.
Still, the French goalkeeper has a lot of potential in him and played in the win over West Brom in the League Cup.
Hopefully we will get more from him in the future and he could be like the next Martin Dubravka, who was a superb back up to Nick Pope in the past years.
Bazoumana Touré 7/10
Touré sounds like the perfect option for the future and probably the reason we signed him for, with Harvey Barnes doing an excellent job at left wing.
Still the price tag for a 20 year old seems too high, as Newcastle paid £43 million to get the signature of Bazoumana Touré.
He has already scored in the League Cup when he brought the Magpies 1-0 up at St. James’ Park. Just like Jaouen, I think he’s a great player for the future, for now I would stick to the reliable Harvey Barnes.
Sean Steur 7.5/10
A reported £23 million was paid to sign the 18 year old talent from Ajax.
Many were considering him as a back up option, he got the confidence from Matthias Jaissle and started against Liverpool, where he played a brilliant match.
With the signing of Nico Gonzalez and the return of Joelinton very soon, he will probably be a regular on the bench. But with that form he showed in pre-season and the game against Liverpool, I see him starting more regularly as the season goes on.

Aladji Bamba 6/10
Bamba came from Monaco and was the second Frenchmen to arrive on Tyneside following a whopping £31 million. And let’s be honest, we haven’t really seen much of him.
He played some minutes in pre-season but it is not like he impressed us with the talent he has. I think that he is last in the pecking order of Matthias Jaissle now and he really needs to step up in order to get some regular game time, as he has only played 14 minutes against Liverpool. While being on the bench against West Brom and Tottenham.
Lukas Hornicek 8.5/10
The 5th signing of the summer window coming into Newcastle United for a reported £26 million. Price related this was a brilliant deal.
Getting a 24-year old for such a price is a bargain, just like Aston Villa did with the signing of Zion Suzuki. Hornicek has already done a great job by making important saves against Tottenham Hotspur. Due to a very young age for a goalkeeper, who usually shine when they are 30, I’m really looking forward to see him become the main man between the sticks for the upcoming years.
Amar Dedic 9/10
Coming in from Portugal, Amar Dedic has already found his best form at Newcastle in the absence of Tino Livramento.
Having already endured St. James’ Park last season, when he lost 3-0 with Benfica in the Champions League. It doesn’t seem like Amar needs adapting time.
He already impressed Matthias Jaissle with three assists in the opening three games, getting two assists in the league cup against West Brom and setting up Anthony Elanga last weekend against Spurs. When he came in, he was considered as the back-up option to Tino Livramento and replacing Kieran Trippier, whose contract came to an end.
But with the form he is in right now and the connection he has with Matthias Jaissle from his time at Salzburg, I really see him overtaking Livramento throughout the season, so you better watch out Tino!

Nico Gonzalez 8.5/10
A reported £48 million was paid to get the signature of Nico Gonzalez.
In my opinion, definitely worth it.
At just 24 years old, it seems like Newcastle got the perfect replacement for Sandro Tonali, who is not enjoying a bright start at Tottenham.
Matias Fernandez-Pardo 8/10
The last signing of the summer window was the Belgian talent Matias Fernandez-Pardo, who enjoyed last season with Lille in the Ligue 1.
He came over for a reported £52 million, which puts a lot of pressure on the shoulders of the 21-year-old.
I think he’s going to be an excellent signing for us, as we really need a number 10 due to the fact Wissa and Woltemade had to play there at the beginning of this season.
That £52 million price tag makes him also one of the most expensive signing in Newcastle History, standing in a list with the likes of Anthony Elanga, Sandro Tonali, Alexander Isak and Nick Woltemade. Expectations are of course high for him but I trust him to achieve great things here on Tyneside.
